Once a classic mercantile dating back to the early 1920s in Madison’s Dudgeon-Monroe neighborhood, the corner building that houses our Monroe St. cafe has been completely reinvented. Fully operable garage doors, large skylights, a fireplace, and a mix of hand-built and reclaimed furniture give the space a light-drenched and cozy neighborhood feel.
Colectivo on Monroe St provides an excellent space for conversation and creativity. The baristas behind the bar have a well managed and quick workflow due to the high volume of customers. Not a shop I would go to for sweet espresso or single origin flavors.
